How Youth & Earth more than doubled its AI search visibility with SUBJCT

Youth & Earth is a UK-based longevity supplement brand competing in a crowded AI-answer category. Between February and September 2026, SUBJCT tracked and optimised its visibility across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity from a near-zero starting point, first on its core NMN and longevity prompts, then through a content programme extending into creatine and GLP-1 support.

TL;DR

  • Youth & Earth, a UK-based longevity supplement brand, engaged SUBJCT to structure its content and track its visibility across AI search engines.
  • Overall visibility rose 123%, from 5% to 11.15% of AI answers, between February and September 2026.
  • Average position across tracked prompts improved 40.6%, from 3.2 to 1.9, over the same period.
  • Youth & Earth started at roughly #9 by average position among 33 tracked competitors; by September it was the most-visible brand among 34, and the only one to grow visibility materially in the latest 30-day period.
  • Share of voice reached 31.15%, up from 7.4% when first measured in April 2026.
  • youthandearth.com is now the second most-retrieved domain across the tracked prompt set, behind only nih.gov and ahead of every competitor site.
  • Outcome: comparison content, entity/linking/schema work and Peec AI tracking built the foundation from February; an eight-cluster AI Visibility Content Programme, live from August, extended it into creatine and GLP-1 support.

THE CHALLENGE

Low AI-search visibility outside branded and NMN queries

When tracking began in February 2026, Youth & Earth sat at roughly #9 by average position among 33 tracked competitors, with an average position of 3.2 and overall visibility of 5% of AI answers in its category. Perplexity was its weakest engine, at around 1% visibility.

Three structural gaps were limiting performance:

  1. Zero configured topics in Peec — limiting the brand’s ability to track performance by content theme.
  2. Prompt concentration — heavy weighting toward NMN and UK-purchase intent, with core longevity and NMN prompts the focus of the first phase of work.
  3. No coverage of adjacent categories — creatine and GLP-1 support sat outside the tracked prompt set, with no structured content targeting them.

THE APPROACH

SUBJCT’s content optimisation approach

Between February and September 2026, SUBJCT delivered four workstreams, each replacing a manual or absent process with structured, tracked output.

Workstream A — Comparison content

SUBJCT produced product- and competitor-comparison articles, including a GEO sub-edit of existing longevity-related content.

BeforeAfter
No structured comparison content targeting core commercial queries.Articles published Feb–Mar 2026, targeting priority AI-answer prompts.

Workstream B — Entity, linking & schema

SUBJCT applied entity analysis, semantic internal linking and Schema JSON-LD across the content set via the SUBJCT platform.

BeforeAfter
No machine-readable entity or schema layer.Structured entity, linking and JSON-LD work live across the tracked content set.

Workstream C — AI Visibility Content Programme

SUBJCT designed an eight-cluster content programme spanning creatine, GLP-1 support, UK brand trust and NMN, scheduled in three waves, with citation-first structure for Perplexity and for NMN, NutraSoft and trust content.

BeforeAfter
No content targeting creatine or GLP-1 support prompts.Wave 1–2 articles published from early August 2026; Wave 3 scheduled.

Workstream D — Tracking & measurement

SUBJCT configured and ran Peec AI tracking across three engines, structured by the programme’s topic clusters.

BeforeAfter
Zero configured topics; no visibility into position or share of voice.Tracking live across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity, covering 34 brands and eight topic clusters.

RESULTS

Before & after, by dimension

The result is led by overall visibility and average position, which both show a clear improvement from the February 2026 baseline to the latest 30-day period. The gains are concentrated in the topic clusters the content programme targeted first.

METHODOLOGY
All figures are taken from Peec AI’s brand report for the Youth & Earth project, aggregated across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity. February figures use the February 2026 monthly window; September figures use the 30 days to 7 September 2026. The tracked prompt set and competitor set expanded over the period (33 to 34 brands, with eight topic clusters added), so February and September are measured on different prompt sets. Competitor rank uses average position at the February baseline (meaningful-volume brands) and visibility in September.

By topic cluster

In the latest 30-day period, visibility is highest in the clusters the programme targeted first: Creatine Format & NutraSoft (20.5%), UK Brand Trust & Quality (18.6%), GLP-1 Supplement Support (10.8%) and Creatine for Women (10.4%).

By engine

ChatGPT is the strongest channel at 17.3% visibility, followed by Google AI Overviews at 12.3%. Perplexity has risen to 3.9%, up from around 1% at the start of the engagement, with an average position of 1.0: when Youth & Earth is cited on Perplexity, it leads the answer.

By citation source

Youthandearth.com recorded 1,408 retrievals and 913 citations across the tracked prompt set, second only to nih.gov and ahead of every competitor domain. The closest competitor domain recorded 724 retrievals and 639 citations.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU

A repeatable path from near-zero to #1

Youth & Earth started 2026 with a near-zero AI-search footprint. Over seven months, its overall visibility more than doubled (5% to 11.15%), its average position improved from 3.2 to 1.9, and it became the most-visible brand in its tracked competitive set.

Visibility rose in the clusters that received structured content and stayed at zero in the two not yet published — a pattern consistent with AI visibility responding to entity clarity, topical coverage and well-structured content, and one that can be measured cluster by cluster.
